About Toro Asian Buffet
Toro Asian Buffet is one of the chinese restaurants listed in Chicago, Illinois. In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Chicago; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Illinois are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Toro Asian Buffet at (773) 698-6001; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is toroasianbuffets.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Chicago is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Getting around Chicago is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Illinois's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This is an incredible chinese buffet! The food is delicious at such a low price. I especially loved the chow mein, pineapple chicken, crab rangoons, and the dessert selection. There is so much variety in food! And the seafood selection was great and replenished regularly. The crawfish was surprisingly good. And do not miss out on the soft serve! The service was warm and attentive and the vibe of the restaurant was calm and welcoming.

This restaurant is NOT a typical Chinese buffet restaurant found around Chicago area. Here are the things I found that make this restaurant βexceptionalβ! Never closed: Open 365 days/year, 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM Price: Exceptional value (Jun 2026) - Lunch $14.99, Dinner $18.99 - Saturday Lunch $15.99 - Sunday & Holidays $18.99 Food quality: You should arrive at the opening time, 11:00 am, to get the best of everything - Delicious, hot, not dry or stale - Constantly, (almost), being replaced, (not refilled), with fresh new tray of food - Food trays are placed on top of the working food warmers, and ice Verities of food: - Seafood, sushi, beef, pork, chicken, salad, pizza, fruits, cake, cookies, ice cream and moreβ¦ Drinks: soft drink, coffee, hot tea - All included, no extra cost Atmosphere: - Very nice and clean with soft music - No cooking smell Hospitality: - Waiters are diligent and kind and work nonstop, picking up used plates and constantly cleaning from top to bottom - (Iβve never forgotten to tip them nicely.) Washroom: - Nice and clean no smell, (exceptional for many typical restaurants) Overall: - I am very happy that I found this restaurant. - It offers everything I want. - Go

DO NOT GO HERE! 95% of the mussels in the seafood boil are closed which means they're bad and could easily give someone food poisoning or worse. My boyfriend mentioned it to the wait staff and they gave him a half hearted apology and left the food up there. If they don't understand that very blatant for safety issue, they more than likely don't properly store any of their food. I'm not the kind of person who likes to complain but holy crap this is blatant and disgusting. This is on top of the fact that almost none of the food has any flavor. I'm not sure how they managed to suck the flavor out of crab legs but they worked some magic to make then mushy and disgusting. I only wish I had noticed the mussels before I ate the crab because if I don't get food poisoning from this meal I will be shocked. Thank God I came here in person to see how bad it is so I can stop my boyfriend and his parents from ever getting take out here again.

We visited your Asian buffet today, March 28, while we were in Chicago from another city. We chose your place because we wanted to try a buffet here in Chicago. The food was very good β tasty and fresh. We enjoyed it, even though the selection was not very large. However, we were disappointed with the service at the front. The cashier did not greet us, did not smile, and seemed unhappy to see us. She simply told us to pay in a very serious and unfriendly way. This made us feel uncomfortable, and it was our first time experiencing something like this. We kindly ask management to speak with the staff, especially those at the front, to ensure they greet customers with a smile and provide a welcoming atmosphere. Thank you for your attention.
